The Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA)’s was founded in 1928, and is now the third largest veterinary medical association in the United States with approximately 3,600 members. The organization works to advance the veterinary medical profession by providing continuing education and by advocating on the behalf of veterinarians. FVMA also looks to promote animal health and well-being, as well as protecting public health.
